The C64TPC connects your Commodore 64 to your PC through their respective serial ports. This enables the C64 to use the PC as it's disk drive. This includes the: Hard disk, CD/DVD, Flash Memory, MMC, and any other type of storage device attached to your PC. C64TPC also allows you to save your .d64 images back to the PC.

C64TPC consists of two components: an hardware device and the PC software. The hardware device conducts low level communication between; the C64 and the PC. Thus, the user does not need to struggle with complex settings or processes. The C64TPC software is a program with a graphical user interface, which provides a simple method of interacting with the hardware.

C64TPC only supports C64 diskette images, .d64 files. It can both read and write these files. The user does not need to extract the individual programs from these images to use them.

1.Can it run multi-part games?
Yes. This is simple for the C64TPC to do. It is serves image files to the Commodore by request.

2. Can it run multi-disk games?
Yes. Disk swapping is very simple for the 64TPC. You can select the next disk image at runtime. C64TPC supports four virtual drives. If the game allows you to, you can associate every disk images with a different virtual drive, and play without disk swapping.

3. Some games are programmed to use the 1541 disk drive's microprocessor. Can C64TPC run these games?
No. The C64TPC can not emulate the 1541 Disk Drive.

4. Does it support fastloaders?
No. But the C64TPC is already 37% faster than a real 1541 disk drive.

5. Can it run with the 1541 disk drive at the same time?
Yes. Of course, you must be careful of the device number, so they do not conflict with eachother.

6. There is no serial port in my PC. Can I use C64TPC with USB/RS232 convertor?
Yes. you can.

7. Can I load and save my Prophet 64 & MSSIAH songs to/from any folder in my PC with C64TPC?
